A spectacular aerial theatre show to mark the opening of the Melbourne Festival, this is well worth seeing. With roving entertainment from 8.30pm, K@osmos commences at 9pm.

Fear and Laughing at Melbourne Fringe

A free stand-up gig by seditious upstart comedian Micah Higbed. This one's had some mixed reviews but shows definite promise - turn up early as the venue is quite small with limited seating.

Live on the Tracks
@Tram routes 86, 96, 112 and the City Circle / Flinders Street & Southern Cross Stations
5 - 6pm, Mon - Sat

Catch The Bedroom Philosopher, Aluka, Ross Beaton, Rick Steward, Jessica Ribeiro and the Bone Collectors, and others on random trams around the city, in particular Bourke and Swanston streets. Also in Flinders Street and Southern Cross Stations see open-air sets from The Wellingtons, Red Ink, Jess McAvoy, Charles Jenkins, Brittle and Matheson.

Melbourne Fringe Awards and Closing Party

Can't get enough Fringe? Curious to see which shows scoop an award? Or just a bit of a hanger-on keen to rub elbows with the Fringe folk? Once the curtain has come down and the stage lights are off this is the place to be. Partying will continue into the night and judging from previous years you can be sure there'll be some great tunes being spun.
